If connection is lost...

Hi, my question is: there is a way to stop motors of a Lego Mindstorms NXT if connection is lost?

If you instruct them to turn forever, then most probably they will do so. Did not see anything in the direct commands API about stopping motors when connections gets lost.

But you may try writing small application for the brick itself and ping it from time to time. If it does not receive ping, then it will stop motors. Did not try this approach personally, so can not advice much in this direction.
With best regards,
