I know this is late.
You could use the C# code and translate it to VB.Net using

Why do you need to translate anything at all? C# assembly should be usable from VN.NET.

As a new, I also looked for solutions, "using a webcam to scan QR codes and how it can be done" that's why my interest in
AForge tutorials began soon,
and I wasn't too lazy and get to know the features of projects for the following areas: networks, work with images, interaction with video devices, etc. Absolutely all the features of the product are described in the tutorials. Great attention is paid to the example based on the use of new opportunities by a developer.
So, in the remaining computer science project, I seek help. I'm currently just doing my last assignment,
in fact, I've been sat here since morning) It seems that all with
VB I still have a whole semester, so I'll keep all your recommendations at hand ...
