Handle video connection timeout

Postby VBKen » Fri Jul 05, 2019 7:03 pm

Thanks for providing the AForge framework code. It has been a big help.

I have successfully managed to access video from a camera using the videoSourcePlayer.

After issuing videoSourcePlayer.Start(), I get either a) Connecting...then video if the camera is available or b) Connecting...The operation has timed out if the camera is not available.

Is there a way to detect if "The operation has timed out" in code? Currently, the message appears on the videoSourcePlayer window.

Thanks, Ken

Try using VideoSourceError event. Hope it works.
With best regards,
Andrew
